L'invasione russa e la menzogna del contenimento di Israele

A volte viene da pensare con rammarico, alle esagerate celebrazioni della potenza militare russa ed alle implicazioni strategiche per la regione. Purtroppo, questo non ha nulla a che fare con la complessità che la presenza militare russa aggiungerà alla scena già complicata in Siria.

La presenza militare Russa nella regione, probabilmente non riguarda l'avvicinarsi della fine dello spargimento di sangue del popolo siriano. Invece, sta minando la dignità della nazione siriana, prima per mano del regime e dei suoi servizi militari e di sicurezza con il pretesto della resistenza e dell’associazione a delinquere, e poi per mano degli estremisti che vogliono creare la loro versione dell’ordine di Dio sulla Terra sbriciolando, bruciando e decapitando il popolo siriano.

Oggi la nazione siriana e le persone vengono minate per la terza volta dall’esitante comunità internazionale, che è controllato dagli interessi delle forze più influenti, piuttosto che dagli standard dei diritti umani e della dignità. Tutto questo senza dubbio è deplorevole. Tuttavia, il mio più grande rimpianto nasce dal grembo della misera teoria che l'invasione militare russa della Siria conterrà Israele, ripristinerà l'equilibrio perduto nella regione e farà rivivere la speranza per una soluzione pacifica.

Ho sentito un certo numero di gran parte della sinistra politica, di funzionari ed attivisti che parlano questa lingua, come se il presidente Putin, o "Abu Ali Putin", come il poeta giordano Arif Al-Batoush lo ha definito, si stia preparando per liberare Al-Aqsa, portare giustizia al popolo palestinese e stabilire uno stato palestinese. Di nuovo, ci sono sentimenti superficiali e ingenui affascinati dall’idea che le principali questioni arabe della regione saranno in qualche modo risolte, una volta che l’Armata Rossa sarà coinvolta nella regione. Questa stessa ingenuità presuppone che solo Putin sia capace di ridefinire il delirio sociale israeliano e portare giustizia al popolo palestinese, oltre a contribuire a ripristinare tutto ciò che è rimasto della nostra dignità araba perduta.

A questo riguardo, ho sentito tutti i tipi di analisi che tentano di portarci indietro a una lavagna pulita con la Russia, nel suo sostegno al popolo palestinese, e alla dipendenza di Israele dagli Stati Uniti, così come al ruolo di Mosca nell’educare e insegnare ai palestinesi quando il mondo si occupa di loro.

L'obiettivo di questi assunti, che a mio avviso non hanno nemmeno tenuto conto del Cremlino, è quello di lodare gli stivali russi per la loro presenza militare in Siria, che ripristineranno alla normalità. E, soprattutto, per quanto riguarda la questione palestinese.

Quelle che promuovono queste credenze, è il disprezzo, intenzionale o per ignoranza, degli interessi della leadership russa e delle priorità, in materia di alleanze geopolitiche, e della battaglia per le risorse energetiche naturali e le sue rotte commerciali.

Essi hanno inoltre trascurato il fatto che "Abu Ali Putin" ha incontrato Netanyahu prima di chiunque altro cercando il suo permesso per l'incursione siriana, e che Mosca ha firmato un accordo per coordinare le operazioni militari con Israele.

Ancora più importante, quelli che vendono tali opinioni ignorano le convinzioni di ciascuno che la presenza militare russa nella zona non sarebbe stata possibile se non fosse stato per la coperura americana. Questa è quindi una copertura di Israele e serve allo scopo storico di Israele, con il quale siamo tutti molto familiari.

Confido nella teoria dell’intellettuale, professore dottor Amin Mahmoud, per quanto riguarda il successo di Israele, o meglio del sionismo, nel trasformare tutti i suoi avversari della regione in poco più di scimmie ammaestrate che applaudono o ballano assecondando i desideri di Israele, la cui unica opposizione politica si manifesta in acrobazie inefficaci che servono solo a rafforzare l'equilibrio di potere nella regione.

Credo che un pensatore politico ed esperto negli affari israeliani del calibro di Adnan Abu Odeh sa di cosa sta parlando, quando suggerisce che non ci sia un vero esperto di mentalità sionista ne delle sue strutture, che possa rendere difficile aspettarsi che Israele verrà contenuta dai carri armati russi.

Il dottor Mahmoud sottolinea che la desolazione dello scenario che assume la Russia capace di essere militarmente presente nella regione araba, senza coordinamento con gli Usa, o che Israele potrebbe effettivamente essere preoccupato perché l’equilibrio regionale è stato capovolto dopo l'intervento militare Russo, e non è più in loro favore.

Noi possiamo solo leggere tali scenari e ipotesi con dolore e rammarico, mentre molti indicatori suggeriscono che l'amministrazione americana sta lasciando la regione militarmente, ma non strategicamente per ragioni proprie, ma che essa offre il contratto di prendere in consegna il compito di prolungare il conflitto militare in Siria ad Abu Ali Putin.

Sono anche fiducioso nella teoria che suppone Israele sia un partner strategico di Putin nei dettagli della scena e che l'intervento delle forze militari russe in un paese come la Siria finirà inevitabilmente nel lancio di negoziati di pace, in particolare con lo scopo di definire compromessi tra Mosca, Tel Aviv e Washington.

Quando questo processo di pace, imposto militarmente della Russia, giungerà ai piedi delle alture del Golan non sarà nei termini intesi dall’ultimo Hafez Al-Assad.

Il processo di pace non sarà basato sulle teorie di resistenza e di sfida, ma è probabile che sia un processo politico in cui gli Stati Uniti e Mosca divideranno la loro influenza in base alla bussola di Israele a spese del popolo palestinese e giordano. Finirà con l'insediamento della questione palestinese in conformità con gli standard sionisti, cioè senza uno Stato, ne diritto all'autodeterminazione, o diritto al ritorno, e neanche diritto al risarcimento.

Sulla base di questo, ci sono questioni che suggeriscono che il prezzo del fine ultimo sarà pagato dal popolo palestinese e da nessun altro. La sofferenza e la distruzione del popolo siriano è stata per preservare gli interessi della cricca dominante a Damasco che ha saccheggiato il paese e derubato il popolo.

Pertanto, non vedo alcuna ragione per la sinistra araba di celebrare l'invasione militare russa della Siria, abbiamo visto Netanyahu stringere la mano a Putin, mentre lui rimaneva seduto.

Non vedo alcuna ragione neppure per il campo dei moderati, per celebrare la menzogna di ripristinare l'equilibrio in un processo di pace e di mitigare la negatività americana, fornendo un'opportunità di pressione su Israele con il peso della Russia. Gli americani non sono più un partito credibile nella gestione del processo di pace e quell'opportunità è ora disponibile per qualcun altro che voglia sedersi su quella sedia, nell’illusione della pace per molti anni, ma alle condizioni dei russi questa volta intorno e attraverso la porta che conduce a Siria.

The Russian invasion and the ‘lie’ of containing Israel

It sometimes occurs to me to watch, with regret, the exaggerated celebrations of Russia’s military might and it strategic implications for the region. Unfortunately, this does not have anything exclusively to do with the complexities that Russia’s military presence will add to the already complicated scene in Syria.

Russia’s military presence in the region is arguably not concerned with the approaching end of the bloodshed of the Syrian people. Instead, it works to undermine the dignity of the Syrian nation, first at the hand of the regime and its military and security services under the pretext of resistance and conspiracy, and second at the hand of the extremists who want to establish their version of God’s order on Earth by means of crushing, burning and beheading the Syrian people.

The Syrian nation and people are undermined a third time by the hesitant international community that is controlled by the interests of influential forces rather than by standards of human rights and dignity. All of this undoubtedly regrettable.

However, my greatest regret is born from the womb of the miserable theory that the Russian military invasion of Syria will contain Israel, will restore the balance lost in the region and will revive hope for a peaceful settlement.

I have heard a number of mostly left-wing politicians, officials and activists speaking this language, as if President Putin, or “Abu Ali Putin”, as the Jordanian poet Arif Al-Batoush dubbed him, is preparing to liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque, bring justice to the Palestinian people and establish a Palestinian state.

One again, there are superficial and naïve sentiments that are trying to hint that the main Arab issues in the region will somehow be resoled once Russia’s Red Army becomes involved in the region.

This same naïveté assumes that Putin alone is capable today of re-defining Israeli social delirium and bringing justice to the Palestinian people, as well as contributing to restoring whatever is left of our lost Arab dignity.

I have heard all sorts of analyses in this regard, which attempt to take us back to a clean slate with Russia in its support for the Palestinian people and to Israel’s dependence on the US, as well as Moscow’s role in educating and teaching the Palestinians when the world turned on them.

The goal of these assumptions, which I believe have not even occurred to the Kremlin, is to praise Russian boots on the ground and to that its military presence in Syria will restore matters to normal, especially with regards to the Palestinian issue.

Those promoting these beliefs disregard, either intentionally or ignorantly, the Russian leadership’s own interests and priorities regarding geopolitical alliances and the battle for natural energy resources and trade routes.

They also overlook the fact that “Abu Ali Putin” met with Netanyahu before anyone else and sought his permission for the Syrian incursion, and that Moscow signed an agreement to coordinate their military operations with Israel.

Most importantly, those peddling such views disregard everyone’s convictions that Russian military presence in the area would not have been possible if it were not for the American cover. This is consequently an Israeli cover and it serves Israel’s historical purpose, with which we are all too familiar.

I trust in the theory of the intellectual and professor Dr Amin Mahmoud regarding the success of Israel, or rather of Zionism, in turning all its opponents in the region into little more than monkeys and apes that clap or dance according to Israel’s wishes and whose only political opposition is manifested in ineffective acrobatics that serve to reinforce the balance of power in the region.

I believe that a political thinker and expert in Israeli affairs of the calibre of Adnan Abu Odeh knows what he is talking about when he suggests that there is no true expert in the Zionist mentality and its structures, making it difficult to expect that Israel will be contained by the Russian tanks.

Dr Mahmoud points out that the bleakness of the scenario that assumes Russia is capable of being militarily present in the Arab region without coordinating with America, or that Israel could actually feel concerned because the regional scales have tipped in manner that it not in their favour after Russia’s military intervention.

We can only read such scenarios and assumptions with sorrow and regret, as many indicators suggest that the American administration is leaving the region militarily (but not strategically) for its own reasons, but that it tendered the contract to Abu Ali Putin to take over the task of prolonging the military conflict in Syria.

I am also confident in the theory that supposes Israel is a strategic partner of Putin in the details of the scene and that the intervention of Russian military forces in a country such as Syria will inevitably end in the launch of peace and settlement negotiations, specifically within the scope of trade-offs between Moscow, Tel Aviv and Washington.

When this peace process reaches the foothills of the Golan Heights, under Russia’s military-imposed peace, it will not be on the terms the late Hafez Al-Assad talked about.

The peace process will not be based on the theories of resistance and defiance, but is likely to be a political process in which the US and Moscow will divide their influence according to Israel’s compass at the expense of the Palestinian and Jordanian people. It will end with the settlement of the Palestinian issue in accordance with Zionist standards, i.e. without a state, the right of self-determination, the right of return, or even the right of compensation.

Based on this, there are matters that suggest that the price of the ultimate goal will be paid by the Palestinian people and no one else. The suffering and destruction of the Syrian people was for the sake of preserving the interests of the ruling clique in Damascus that looted the country and robbed the people.

Therefore, I do not see any reason for the Arab left-wing to celebrate the Russian military invasion of Syria – we have seen Netanyahu shaking hands with Putin while he remained seated.

I also do not see any reason for the moderate camp to celebrate the lie of restoring balance to the peace process and mitigating American negativity by providing an opportunity to pressure Israel with the weight of Russia. The Americans are no longer a credible party in managing the peace process and the opportunity is now available for someone to sit on the chair of illusion of peace for several years – but under the Russians’ terms this time around and through the door that leads to Syria.
