Il Dalai Lama benedice la marcia dei monaci thailandesi fino a Leh per la pace nel mondo di Tenzin Monlam
Il Leader spirituale tibetano, Sua Santità il Dalai Lama, ha benedetto la marcia per la pace nel mondo di un gruppo di 40 monaci thailandesi in occasione del Buddha Purnima a Theckchen Chöling Tsuglakhang.
I monaci avevano incontrato ieri il leader tibetano nella sua residenza. Organizzata dalla Thai-Dharamshala Charity Society con sede a Dharamshala, i monaci hanno dichiarato che la marcia ha lo scopo di promuovere amore, gentilezza e compassione nel mondo.
Una piccola sessione di preghiera si è svolta prima che i monaci iniziassero la loro marcia per la pace, che si concluderà a Leh in Ladakh. Sua Santità ha detto che vede sempre i monaci dalla Thailandia come gli anziani del Buddismo, nonostante l’insegnante sia lo stesso, e gli stessi siano anche gl’insegnamenti delle Quattro Nobili Verità e delle 37 Pratiche dei Bodhisattva ecc
"Stiamo partendo per questa Yatra per la pace nel mondo e per condividere con il mondo la pace della mente e dell'anima secondo gli insegnamenti del nostro maestro, il Signore Buddha", ha detto uno dei monaci che partecipano alla processione.
Hatyai Pharyatha Suthi, il monaco che conduce la processione, ha detto, "Ci sentiamo molto grati e contenti di aver incontrato con Sua Santità, è stato molto gentile con tutti noi. Sento che il Dalai Lama è il rivelatore della santa verità insegnata da Buddha".
Dopo aver visto partire i monaci, il Dalai Lama ha ingraziato la preghiera per Saka Dawa a Tsuglakhang organizzata dal Monastero di Namgyal.

Dalai Lama blesses Thai monks' march to Leh for world peace By Tenzin Monlam
Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama blessed a March for world peace by a group of 40 Thai monks on the occasion of Buddha Purnima at Theckchen Chöling Tsuglakhang.
The monks had met the Tibetan leader at the latter’s residence yesterday. Organized by the Dharamshala-based Thai-Dharamshala Charity Society, the monks said that the march is aimed to promote love, kindness and compassion in the world.
A small prayer session was held before the monks started their peace march, which will conclude in Leh, Ladakh. His Holiness said that he always sees the monks from Thailand as ‘senior citizen of Buddhism’ despite the same teacher, same teachings of Four Noble truth and 37 Bodhisattva Practices etc.
“We are having this yatra for the world peace and to share with the world about peace of mind and soul as per the teachings of our teacher, the lord Buddha,” said one of the monks participating in the procession.
Hatyai Pharyatha Suthi, the monk who is leading the procession, said, “We feel great and pleased to have met with His Holiness and was very kind to all of us. I feel Dalai Lama is the revealer of the holy truth taught by Buddha.”
After seeing off the monks, the Dalai Lama graced the prayer for Saka Dawa at Tsuglakhang organized by the Namgyal Monastery. |
