Caro fratello, Caro Sami L’eco della tua lotta è arrivato in Calabria (ITALIA). In un piccolo paese di questa regione abbiamo montato una tenda della speranza nella quale da quattro giorni anch’io faccio lo sciopero della fame in solidarietà con la tua lotta che poi è quella di tanti fratelli e sorelle palestinesi che ogni giorno s’impegnano per la fine dell’occupazione sionista che con crudeltà inaudita cerca di piegare le vostre speranze di libertà e la vostra ferrea volontà. In questo piccolo paese della Calabria, ho fondato InvictaPalestina, Palestina indomita, Palestina mai vinta e in questi giorni di lotta sono molte le persone che vogliono sapere, informarsi, conoscere la bellissima terra di Palestina. Hanno bisogno di me per continuare ad informare con manifestazione, video, racconti, hanno bisogno di te come valoroso testimone della violenza israeliana che hai incontrato a soli sedici anni. Il sionismo ha la necessità di spegnere la speranza, spegnere le vite, per poter affermare il suo dominio con espulsioni, pulizia etnica e apartheid, per contrastare questo progetto ti faccio una proposta. Caro Sami, ti propongo di scegliere la vita al martirio, scegliendo di comune accordo di sospendere il nostro sciopero per camminare insieme nella lotta di liberazione del popolo palestinese, t’invito a sospendere insieme, io in Italia tu nelle carceri israeliane, lo sciopero in corso e sostituirlo con la lotta collettiva, quotidiana, che un giorno, insieme a tutti le persone che resistono e solidarizzano col tuo popolo, porterà sicuramente alla liberazione della tua terra. Come fratelli aspetteremo insieme la tua liberazione, divideremo poi lo stesso boccone, la stessa casa. Condivideremo la tua casa in Palestina ricostruita con i colori della primavera e gli ulivi della Calabria, la mia in Calabria con i colori e la bandiera della tua terra. Quello che ti chiedo non è la rinuncia alla lotta, è un appello alla vita per poter lottare con più energia, abbracceremo insieme le nostre mamme, le nostre sorelle e i nostri fratelli, insieme, io in Italia e tu in Palestina. Una volta liberato dalle catene israeliane, faremo di tutto per farti venire in Italia per raccontare la tua storia di resistenza, ti accoglieremo con le canzoni dei nostri partigiani che ci liberarono dal nazifascismo, io ti seguirò, poi, in Palestina e tu mi guiderai nei villaggi simbolo delle rivolte, della resistenza, dell’arte, della musica della tua adorata Palestina. Concludo con le parole Mahmud Darwish: Se gridi con tutte le tue forze e l’eco ti risponde: “Chi c’è” Dì alla tua identità: Grazie! Zionism is driven by an urge to suppress freedom, suppress life, in order to continue with its project of evictions, ethnic cleansing and Apartheid. To counter this project, I have a propostion for you: - Dear Sami, choose life over martyrdom. - By choosing to end our hunger strike together, you in your prison in the Occupied territories and I here, in Italy, we continue to embrace the collective, daily struggle, that will soon bring, together with all people of conscience all over the world, to the liberation of your land. As brothers, together we will wait for your liberation, will share the same food, the same house. We shall share your house in Palestine, rebuilt with the colors of Spring and of Calabria’s olive orchards, and my house here with the colors and the flag of your land. I am not asking, of course, that your renounce your struggle. Mine is a call to life, to continue the struggle with renewed energy. Together we will embrace our mothers, our sisters and our brothers, you in Palestine and I in Italy..
