Expert warns: Aqsa Mosque entered very dangerous stage

Occupied Jerusalem – Analysts opined that demolishing Islamic buildings in the northern side of Buraq Square by Israeli occupation authorities was in preparation for construction of a huge synagogue adjacent to the Aqsa Mosque.

Dr. Jamal Amro, an expert specialized in the issues of Jerusalem, the holy sites and settlements, told PIC’s reporter that the demolition of Islamic buildings in Buraq Square constitutes the sixth and final stage of the occupation scheme to build the alleged Temple on the ruins of the Aqsa Mosque.

The first phase, according to Amro, ended with seizing control over all underground tunnels inside the Old City and under the Aqsa Mosque.

The second phase was the building of 61 synagogues in the vicinity of the Aqsa Mosque over a large area of land, while preparations are underway for the construction of the 62nd synagogue, which will be the largest one in the world, adjacent to the Aqsa Mosque in the west side, in a bid to obliterate the Arab and Islamic history in the city.

Amro added that the third phase was represented in seizing Islamic properties from the Umayyad and Abbasid eras, while the fourth phase included setting up golden chandelier, weighing 45 kilograms, in the area overlooking the Buraq Square from the west.

The fifth stage, Amro said, “was represented in the completion of the executive schemes for building models of the Temple,” stressing that this stage is extremely serious, because it aims to grant the occupation the necessary political, legal and legitimate cover for the implementation of the construction that represents the sixth stage.

“The Aqsa mosque has actually entered a dangerous stage, with the completion of the six stages. This means that we are facing the stage of implementation,” Amro confirmed.

Meanwhile, the International Quds Institution released its annual report that monitors and documents the Israeli repeated violations in Jerusalem, and stressed the IQI support for Jerusalem and its residents facing the escalated campaign of judaization.

This came during a press conference held by the IQI on Thursday in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

Beshara Merhej, Deputy Head of the IQI Board of Trustees, stressed that Israel, which occupies Jerusalem with the support of Washington, has continued its plans to Judaize the city, and he criticized the inaction and silence of Arabs and Muslims in supporting Jerusalem.

The IQI called for combining efforts to confront the judaization project, to protect Jerusalem and the holy sites and to support the steadfastness of Jerusalemites.

It also stressed the importance of “resistance as a strategic option for the liberation of Jerusalem from Israeli occupation.”
