A huge thank you to Kavala for hosting our marchers and supporting our Civil March for Aleppo! We found the people of this Greek city to be welcoming and hospitable, as well as curious and supportive of our motivations to walk for the people of Syria. We were honoured to have three refugees join our march out of the city yesterday afternoon. We'd like to give a special mention to Kryiacos (front row, second from the left), who we met through some amazing good luck. He went out of his way to make us feel welcomed in his city, and put so much energy into assisting us (organising a press conference, translating the marchers for the Greek people, creating a video for social media to promote our presence in Kavala...to name a few of his many contributions). It is awesome to see people become activated by the March, and Krykacios' passion for this movement was clear from the emotional goodbye we had. It served as a strong reminder of the importance of every single person who donates their love, time and energy to this project. To all who have - we are grateful!
