Our right is to return, and definitely we will

Dozens of Palestinian youth breakthrough Nilin military checkpoint, west of Ramallah, which separates Palestinian lands that were occupied in year 1967 and others occupied in 1948, the activity was named “ Historical return demonstration to AlRamleh city.”

Activists said that they started to move at 9:00 a.m. towards Nilin military checkpoint, without informing about the activity, the demonstration included 50 activists, who started to pass the checkpoint, Israeli soldiers called for a backup to stop the demonstration.

Israeli soldiers attacked activists and arrested three of them, including popular committee coordinator in Nabi Saleh village, Naji Al Tamimi, the activity was made for the Nakba day memorandum, 15 of May. Which marks the 64 years since 1948.

On the other hand, many activists crossed the checkpoint and moved to occupied lands in 1948, holding Palestinian flags, signs and banners that says: “Our right is to return, and definitely we will”

Few days before the activity, Israeli military declared that it is highly prepared for The Nakba day, because they were expecting Palestinian trials to pass the northern boarders of Palestine, or try to pass “checkpoints” towards the Palestinian lands occupied in 1948.

And confirmed as a member of the popular Basil Mansour that we will continue in this kind of events and that the return can only be achieved through this route
