Minori in custodia israeliana denunciano aggressioni durante gli arresti e gli interrogatori

Dopo essere stato ammanettato e bendato è stato aggredito e picchiato sulla schiena e sul volto dai soldati israeliani durante gli interrogatori e stato spogliato e perquisito, prima di essere portato nel carcere di HaSharon.
Il prigioniero Iyad Adawi, 17 anni, di Nablus ha detto di essere stato aggredito da alcuni soldati israeliani mentre era detenuto vicino al checkpoint di Beit Furik.
Adawi ha aggiunto che un soldato israeliano deliberatamente tagliato le mani di Adawi con un coltello quando stava tagliando le cinghie di plastica con cui era stato ammanettato.

Minors in Israeli custody claim assaults during arrests, interrogation
The Palestinian Prisoners and Former Prisoners Committee released Tuesday testimonies of minor Palestinian prisoners who say they were assaulted during detention and interrogation by Israeli forces.
Lawyer of the committee Hiba Masalha, who visited minor prisoners in the Israeli Hasharon jail on Monday, said that prisoner Jamal al-Zaatari, 15, from the al-Tur town near Jerusalem was beaten and assaulted during his detention when Israeli forces raided his home two months ago.
Al-Zaatari was blindfolded and handcuffed with plastic straps and was beaten on the head, prevented from drinking water for hours and verbally assaulted during interrogation in addition to being strip-search while being moved to the HaSharon jail.
Additionally, 17-year-old Riyad Abu Taa from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood was detained four months ago from the Old City of Jerusalem. He was assaulted and beaten on the back by Israeli soldiers after being handcuffed and blindfolded and was beaten on the face during interrogation and strip searched before being taken to the HaSharon jail, Masalha reported.
Prisoner Iyad Adawi, 17, from Nablus said he was assaulted by several Israeli soldiers when detained from near the Beit Furik checkpoint.
Adawi added that an Israeli soldier deliberately cut Adawi's hands with a knife when he was cutting off plastic straps that he was handcuffed with.
Musab Hamdan, 17, from Hebron said that he was assaulted and beaten all over his body and on the face during his detention around a month ago. |
