Video: La polizia israeliana interroga un 13enne, accusato di accoltellamento
In un video ottenuto da Ma'an, funzionari israeliani hanno registrato su pellicola l’interrogatorio di un 13enne palestinese, accusato di aver accoltellato due israeliani vicino all’insediamento illegale di Pisgat Zeev a Gerusalemme Est. Il video mostra spezzoni dell'interrogatorio di Ahmad Manasra, 13 anni, mentre detective israeliani urlano bestemmie e abusano verbalmente di Manasra, mettendo in dubbio l'incidente e le sue motivazioni. Il tempo in cui è stato registrato il filmato non è noto. Il 30 ottobre, la Jerusalem District Court di Israele ha incriminato il 13enne Manasra con l'accusa di tentato omicidio a seguito di un attacco a due israeliani, lo hanno riferito i media israeliani. L'accoltellamento avvenuto il 12 ottobre a Gerusalemme; la polizia israeliana riporta che due israeliani, di età compresa tra 13 e 21, sono rimasti gravemente feriti. Nel video, un interrogatore grida ripetutamente a Manasra, in arabo, per shut up, mentre Manansra continuamente supplica l'ufficiale di credere che non riesce a ricordare nulla circa l'incidente. L'ufficiale è poi visto discutere con il ragazzo su una telefonata con il suo avvocato, e poi gli dice che è accusato del tentato omicidio di due ebrei, e che Manasra aveva appoggiato "il nemico in tempo di guerra", Manasra non sembra capire. L'interrogante mostra a Manasra un video dell'attacco, gridando domande circa i dettagli dell'incidente. Manasra inizia a piangere mentre dice che non sa e non ricorda, implorando l'ufficiale di "chiamare il medico per controllare me", il tutto mentre colpisce se stesso sulla testa. Manasra continua a dire che "non riesce a ricordare nulla" implorando il detective di credergli, e aggiunge che "si è svegliato il giorno dopo non sapendo ciò che era successo." Il detective chiama continuamente Manasra bugiardo. Un altro interrogante si unisce al primo, mentre continua a chiedergli le sue motivazioni, Mansara finalmente dice "tutto quello che dici è corretto, non riesco a ricordare. Da quello che ho visto sulla fotocamera, dell'incidente originale, è al 100 per cento corretto, ma non riesco a ricordare nulla." I due interroganti sono visti sorridere mentre discutono i dettagli; se teneva in mano il coltello su o giù. Manasra dice all'investigatore "tu mi hai chiesto del coltello tutto il tempo e non sai se il coltello è stato impugnato dall’alto o no." Il secondo interrogante inizia gridando a Manasra e chiedendogli circa le sue motivazioni. Manasra inizia a piangere dicendo che ha dimenticato di nuovo supplica gli uomini: "portami da un medico per vedere se mi ricordo." Durante l'attacco, il cugino, Ahmad Hassan di 15 anni, è stato ucciso sul posto dalle forze israeliane, mentre Ahmad è stato rovesciato da una macchina e gravemente ferito. Un video dove Ahmad giaceva ferito e sanguinante a terra dopo essere stato colpito dall’auto è stato caricato sui social media e andato virale. Nel filmato, uno spettatore israeliano può chiaramente essere sentito dire: "!Muori, figlio di un puttana muori!" mentre un altro dice all'ufficiale di polizia di sparargli. Ahmad verrà trasferito in una struttura chiusa fino al processo. Il tribunale ha respinto la richiesta della famiglia che fosse messo agli arresti domiciliari. Il mese scorso, il sito di notizie israeliano Ynet ha detto che i cugini che hanno commesso l'attacco dopo il ritorno da scuola e discutevano di Al-Aqsa e Gaza, prima di decidere di diventare martiri. A causa della sua età, Ahmad non può affrontare il carcere fino a quando non sarà 14enne in gennaio.
Almeno 77 palestinesi sono stati uccisi dall'inizio di ottobre, mentre i gruppi israeliani per i diritti lanciano appelli per fermare le uccisioni illecite di palestinesi che non rappresentano una minaccia sufficiente, al momento della loro morte per l'uso deliberato della forza ammessa dalle forze israeliane. Almeno 13 bambini palestinesi sono stati uccisi dalle forze israeliane durante le manifestazioni.

Video: Israeli police interrogate 13-year-old accused of stabbing
In a video obtained by Ma'an, Israeli officials were captured on film during an interrogation of a 13-year-old Palestinian child accused of stabbing two Israelis near the illegal Pisgat Zeev settlement in East Jerusalem. The video shows clips of the interrogation of Ahmad Manasra,13, as Israeli detectives yell curses and verbally abuse Manasra, as they question him about the incident and his motives. The time of which the footage was recorded is not known. On Oct. 30, Israel's Jerusalem District Court indicted 13-year-old Manasra on charges of attempted murder following an attack on two Israelis, Israeli media reported. The stabbing attack took place on Oct. 12 in Jerusalem, with Israeli police reporting that two Israelis, aged 13 and 21, were seriously injured. In the video, one interrogator repeatedly shout at Manasra, in Arabic, to "shut up", as Manansra continuously pleads for the officer to believe that he cannot remember anything about the incident. The officer is then seen questioning the boy about a phone call with his lawyer, and then tells him that he is accused of the attempted murder of "two Jews," and that Manasra had supported "the enemy in time of war," which Manasra does not seem to understand. The interrogator is next recorded showing Manasra a video of the attack, shouting questions at him about details of the incident. Manasra starts to cry as he says that he "doesn't know" and "cannot remember," pleading with the officer to "take me to the doctor to check me," all while hitting himself on the head. Manasra continues to say that "he cannot remember anything," begging the detective to believe him, and adds that he "woke up the next day not knowing what had happened to me." The detective continuously calls Manasra a "liar." Another interrogator joins the first, as he continues to ask him about his motives, Mansara finally says "everything you're saying is correct, I cannot remember. From what I've seen on the camera [of the original incident] it's 100 percent correct, but I cannot remember anything." The two interrogators are seen smiling as they discuss details of whether he was holding the knife up or down. Manasra tells the investigator "you've been asking me about it all along and you don't know if the knife was held up or not." The second interrogator starts shouting at Manasra and asking him about his motives. Manasra starts to cry saying that he has "forgotten," again begging the men to "take me to a doctor to see if I remember." During the attack, Ahmad's 15-year-old cousin, Hassan, was shot dead at the scene by Israeli forces, while Ahmad was knocked over by a car and seriously wounded. A video of Ahmad lying injured and bloody on the ground after being hit by the car was uploaded to social media and went viral. In the footage, an Israeli onlooker can clearly be heard saying: "Die, son of a wh***! Die!" while another tells the police officer to shoot him. Ahmad will reportedly be held in a closed facility until prosecution, with the court rejecting the family's request that he be placed under house arrest. Last month, Israeli news site Ynet said that the cousins committed the attack after returning from school and discussing the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Gaza, before deciding to be "martyrs." Due to his age, Ahmad cannot face jail time until he turns 14 in January. At least 77 Palestinians have been killed since the start of October, as rights group call for Israel to halt "unlawful" killings of Palestinians who have not posed a great enough threat at the time of their death for the deliberate use of force to be permissible by Israeli forces. At least 13 Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli forces in the unrest. |
