Testo del discorso di Muhammad Al-Daif, Comandante Generale delle Brigate Izz ad-Din al-Qassam

Di seguito è riportato il testo integrale del discorso fatto da Muhammad Al-Daif, Comandante Generale delle Brigate Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, l'ala militare del movimento di resistenza islamica Hamas.

In nome di Allah, il Misericordioso e Compassionevole

Lode ad Allah, il Signore di tutti i mondi, la pace e la preghiera siano sull'Imam dei mujahideen, il nostro Profeta Muhammad, la sua famiglia, i suoi compagni e coloro che seguono la sua strada fino al Giorno del Giudizio.

Citando il Corano: "Combatteteli, e Allah li castighi per mano vostra, li copra di vergogna, vi aiuti ad ottenere la vittoria su di loro, guarisca i petti dei credenti."

O Allah, è con il tuo aiuto che siamo insorti all’azione, è con il tuo aiuto che entriamo in azione, è con il tuo aiuto che combattiamo; non abbiamo né potere né forza senza di Te.

L’Abraha* di questa età ha trasgredito la nostra Ummah, contro il nostro popolo in Gerusalemme, Cisgiordania e Gaza impiegando i più letali macchinari da guerra. Il nemico ha posto l'assedio, e la fame alla gente, ha terrorizzato gl’innocenti, ucciso i bambini, le donne e gli anziani e distrutto le loro case sopra le loro teste, con la più grande somma di obiettivi civili mai conosciuta nella storia. Il nemico sta cercando di convincere il suo popolo che ha invaso Gaza e distrutto le sue gallerie e i lanciarazzi per illudere loro di una falsa vittoria. Come risultato, l’esercito nemico è intrappolato e sconfitto e le sue truppe sono state portate in battaglia come se fossero ammassati a morte. Mentre considerano difficile, la situazione della cosiddetta operazione di terra, promettiamo loro che li faremo sentire peggio e vorremmo affermare quanto segue:

1. L'equilibrio di potere sul campo di battaglia è cambiato. Oggi, stanno combattendo i soldati giusti che amano morire per la causa di Allah, tanto quanto amino vivere. Essi competono per il martirio proprio come amano la vita e la lotta. I ranghi di tutte le forze e le fazioni del nostro popolo sono uniti nel resistere all'aggressione.

2. Laddove gli aerei da combattimento, l’artiglieria e le navi militari non sono riusciti a compiere la missione, anche le truppe di terra saranno sconfitte sul campo. Per grazia di Allah, queste truppe sono ormai diventate facile preda per le nostre armi e gli agguati dei nostri mujaheddin. Non ci sono prove migliori delle incursioni in corso dietro le linee nemiche, la più recente delle quali, era l’operazione a est di Al-Shujaya ieri, nonostante i massacri e l'abbattimento al suolo delle case sopra le teste dei loro abitanti. Questo è stato possibile nonostante i sistemi multipli di ricognizione di cui dispone il nemico. Ora il nemico si rende conto che la missione è molto più difficile e molto più grande di quanto inizialmente supposto. A Dio piacendo il nemico sta inviando le sue truppe in un inferno definitivo.

3. Abbiamo scelto di affrontare e uccidere le truppe armate del nemico e i suoi soldati d'elite, piuttosto che assalire civili nei villaggi vicini. Questo nonostante il fatto che il nemico criminale abbia sparso il sangue dei civili palestinesi, perpetrando massacri e radendo al suolo le case di interi quartieri sopra le teste dei loro abitanti, livellandoli al terreno, tuttavia i loro soldati vengono uccisi.

4. L'entità sionista usurpatrice, non godrà della sicurezza fino a quando al nostro popolo non sarà garantita una vita in libertà e dignità. Non ci sarà un cessate il fuoco fino a quando l'aggressione non sarà fermata e l'assedio tolto. Noi non accetteremo alcun compromesso a scapito della dignità e della libertà del nostro popolo.

5. Affermiamo la nostra piena preparazione per questo grave momento. Noi lavoriamo in sintonia con scenari e piani già stabiliti. Non ci limitiamo a reagire o agire stupidamente come fanno i leader del nemico criminale. Noi abbiamo esercitato ogni sforzo possibile e siamo sicuri che Allah ci darà la vittoria, perchè Allah provvede la vittoria per chi vuole, e Allah il più potente e il più compassionevole.

Nostra Ummah, Nostra popolo. Apprezziamo la vostra posizione e la vostra coesione a sostegno della resistenza. Sia noto a voi che con voi, dopo Allah, siamo più forti e che non vi fanno che un po’ di male. La vittoria viene con la pazienza, e la vittoria è nell’ora della pazienza. Tale vittoria e il grande risultato non sarebbe stato possibile se non fosse stato per la tenacia e la pazienza di chi abbraccia la resistenza. Voi siete la nostra gente e la corona sulle nostre teste. Vi promettiamo che resteremo il vostro scudo protettivo e i vostri servi. Possa Allah essere il vostro guardiano e il vostro protettore, perchè Allah è il miglior protettore e il più misericordioso. Che Allah abbia misericordia dei nostri martiri, guarisca le ferite dei nostri feriti e liberi i nostri prigionieri. Fino alla grande vittoria di Allah.

Citando il Corano: "In verità, ci sarà infatti resi vittoriosi i Nostri messaggeri e coloro che credono nell’Unicità di Allah, nella vita di questo mondo e nel giorno in cui i testimoni torneranno indietro, cioè Giorno della Resurrezione."

Text of address by Muhammad Al-Daif, General Commander of the Izz Ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades

Below is the full text of the speech made by Muhammad Al-Daif, General Commander of the Izz Ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.

In the name of Allah, Most Merciful Most Compassionate

Praise be to Allah, the Lord all of worlds, Peace and prayer be upon the Imam of the mujahideen our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his companions and those who follow their way until the Day of Judgement.

[Quoting the Quran]: "Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers."

O Allah, it is with Your help that we spring to action, it is with Your help that we manoeuvre, it is with Your help that we fight; and we have neither power nor strength without You.

The Abraha of this age has transgressed against our Ummah and against our people in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza employing the most lethal war machinery. The enemy has laid siege, starved the people, terrorised the innocent, murdered children, women and the elderly and destroyed their houses on top of their heads in the largest bank of civilian targets ever known in history. The enemy is seeking to convince its people that it invaded Gaza and destroyed its tunnels and rocket launchers and to delude them of a false victory. As a result, the enemy has trapped its own defeated army and its troops who have been brought into battle as if being herded to death. As they consider the predicament of the so-called ground operation, we promise them what will make them feel worse and would like to affirm the following:

1. The balance of power in the battlefield has changed. Today, you are fighting righteous soldiers who love to die in the cause of Allah just as much as you love to live. They compete for martyrdom just as you run away from death or fighting. The ranks of all the forces and factions of our people have been united in resisting the aggression.

2. What the fighter planes, artillery and military boats have failed to achieve will not be achieved by the defeated troops on the ground. By the Grace of Allah, these troops have now become easy prey for our guns and the ambush of our mujahideen. There is no better evidence to proof this than the ongoing landings behind enemy lines, the most recent of which was the operation to the east of Al-Shujaya yesterday despite the massacres and the razing to the ground of houses on top of the heads of their inhabitants. This has been possible despite the multi-layered reconnaissance systems the enemy has in place. Now the enemy realises that the mission is much tougher and much bigger than initially thought. The enemy is sending its troops to a definite hell, God willing.

3. We have opted to confront and kill the enemy's armed troops and its elite soldiers rather than assault civilians in the neighbouring villages. This is despite the fact that the criminal enemy has been shedding the blood of civilians, perpetrating massacres and razing entire neighbourhoods to the ground levelling houses on top of the heads of their inhabitants whenever more of their soldiers are killed.

4. The usurping Zionist entity will not enjoy security until our people are secured and live in freedom and dignity. There will not be a ceasefire until the aggression is stopped and the siege is lifted. We shall not accept any compromise at the expense of the dignity and freedom of our people.

5. We affirm our full readiness for this moment. We work in according with scenarios and plans already laid down. We do not simply react or act foolishly as the leaders of the criminal enemy do. We have exerted every possible effort and we are confident that Allah will provide us with victory, for Allah provides victory for whoever he wills, and Allah is mightiest and most compassionate.

Our Ummah, our people. We appreciate your stance and your cohesion with and support for the resistance. Let it be known to you that with you, after Allah, we are stronger and that they will not do you but a little harm. Victory comes with patience, and victory is but an hour's patience. Such victory and great accomplishment would not be possible had it not been for your steadfastness, patience and embrace of the resistance. You are our folks and the crown on our heads. We promise you that we shall remain your protective shield and your servants. May Allah be your guardian and protector, for Allah is the best protector and the most merciful. May Allah have mercy on our martyrs, heal the wounds of our wounded and free our captives. Until Allah's great victory.

[Quoting the Quran]: "Verily, We will indeed make victorious Our Messengers and those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) in this world's life and on the day when the witnesses will stand forth, (i.e. Day of Resurrection)."
